Ferry on the IJ in Amsterdam
I like to take the ferry across the IJ, especially during the summer. Normally, I travel 'beneath' the IJ, through a tunnel. But yesterday, coming back from the airport, I decided it would be a good day to take the ferry for a change and feel the wind blow right through my hair.

There is another place/ way I pass every day. In my mind, I'm always on my way to Norway. Or I just imagine myself back in Norway, looking over the fjords, being surrounded by mountains.

Oh... i know the Schiphol Airport by live! Everytime i was flying into the USA, my way was Berlin-Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Memphis, Memphis-Wichita and back. :)

Were you travelling to Wichita often? And how long does it exactly take to travel to Wichita from Berlin via Amsterdam? I think I would suffer from a severe jet lag after such a long journey ;)

Oh... it´s not so hard like it seems. My last trip was 2,5 years ago. All together it will be a turn for about 8-10h. It´s a thing, how long you must wait from one flight to another. I was (thought) 6 times in the USA. 2x California and Nevada and 4 times Kansas.
